A record 385,000 people emigrated from Britain in 2006, according to the Office for National Statistics. With more and more people leaving the country to live abroad, would you consider it? Where in the world would you like to live? Share your thoughts.

I have considered going abroad,but i was born in ENGLAND,and iwant my kids to grow up in this country,but its becoming harder to be british/english without upsetting someone,if you dont like our laws/customs/way of life,then sod off back where you came from

Jon from Cardiff, I fought for my country, and have now moved to Portugal because I would rather not have to fight IN my country. I arrived back here yesterday after a week visiting relatives in the uk. one week was as much as I could take - and I'm not referring to the relatives! What a depressing, dirty, crime-ridden dump it is now. Emigration was the best move I've ever made. I only wish I'd gone earlier.
