Now that the legal minimum age for purchasing tobacco has been raised from 16 to 18, will less young people take up smoking? Should the responsibility fall to retailers, or should it be illegal to smoke at 16? Have your say.
Really should be ban in total become legally to use it
What a load of Hogwash !!!That is taking away our Civil Liberty's, and I don't smoke by the way!!
i think that tobacco should be banned, let the govt find tax from another soufce. i also think that any ome caught selling/ buying any of it should be given a fine of say £500.
they will still get them //////and boy do they smell..
I heard recently that you have to be 21 year of age to buy fags in Japan, and that they have a machine to test your age in outlets that sell ciggies, which you have to use if you are thought to be 'under age',do'nt know how well this systemworks, but it appears to be a responsible step in the right direction?
