Now that the legal minimum age for purchasing tobacco has been raised from 16 to 18, will less young people take up smoking? Should the responsibility fall to retailers, or should it be illegal to smoke at 16? Have your say.
Alan i couldnt agree more THE LAW IS AN ASS...IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT AGE YOU MAKE IT THEY WILL ALWAYS GET THEM FROM SOMEWHERE
Stinking from Yourfags, I think we can safely asume your an exsmoker hahahahahahaha. Miserable old bastard !
I started smoking when I was 10
This Labour Govermment is the next Barmy army gone stark raving mad over this silly smoking ban,A new tax coming our way is fresh Air,
There was a time when police officers could confiscate tobacco/cigs from kids, this stopped a while ago after claims of theft, now the fags have to be given back to the kids parents, who give them back to their little darlings once out of sight of the police station.
As for OLD TIMER yes it is a drug,as is tannin(Tea) Caffein(coffee)Red bull(caffein) and other drugs, alcohol. thats a cracking idea lets ban alcohol, no advertising, no branding, keep it under the counter, all you get is a bottle with something in it. If a person wants to buy 20 superkings blue they will not be able to (no branding) would probably get 20 woodbines. At the same time you want to buy a bottle of vodka you would probably get a bottle of asbach, yuk .Look at the bigger picture its coming, stealth is this governments policy, bit by bit chipping away at our right of choice, the Orwellian society is here in the form of New Labour
