Now that the legal minimum age for purchasing tobacco has been raised from 16 to 18, will less young people take up smoking? Should the responsibility fall to retailers, or should it be illegal to smoke at 16? Have your say.
simply no.. when did kids ever give a damn about this law?
I THINK THAT IF IT DETERS onE OUT OF A THOUSAND IT HELPS.
This gov should stop wasting time and money on stupid ideas, they should put more effort into street crime and immigration. I've never known a gov trying to ban so many things.
Oh come on! If there is a will for young people to smoke then they will get hold of cigarettes.
Raising the age will not make any difference at all. What a stupid idea this is!
The government and the police cannot stop young people from getting hold of guns and drugs so they have no chance with fags.
