Now that the legal minimum age for purchasing tobacco has been raised from 16 to 18, will less young people take up smoking? Should the responsibility fall to retailers, or should it be illegal to smoke at 16? Have your say.
na it wont change a damn thing.
peace-out
ooh and sorry for the mistakes !!
but steel i dont think that the age will stop them!
I also think that the age that they have wont stop them smoking or drinking imean they can buy them just like that i think hat the government have to make a punishment for those who sell to them ..,( oh and if it already exists one hu sorry) but even they dont do anithing!!
Of course it will not, DOH, what a stupid bloody question.
This will not stop kids from smoking - they will find a way to buy them they always do. I smoke but never encouraged my kids - I would not let them smoke indoors till they were 18 hoping that would deter them - it did for two but not the other two. I would never encourage a youngster to smoke but you cannot stop them - they are very clever and know how to get around this. Should be more worried about drinking and drugs and knife crime.
