Eating, drinking, trying to read maps, inserting a cassette or CD, tuning a radio, arguing with passengers or other road users, playing loud music. These have all played a part in prosecutions against drivers. Now smoking is set to join the list. Should smoking and driving be banned? Is it dangerous or are we taking this all a step too far? Have your say.
Well if they think that smoking should be banned when you are driving because it is a distraction, Then it should be banned takeing children in the car, as they are the biggist distraction that i have seen, Mother's turning round to shout at the children to by quiet , and taking there eye's off the road, what bigger distraction can you get than that, Maybe we should gAg the children and tie them up before we drive off IS THAT THE NEXT THING.
how silly, may aswell not drive at all, cant smoke during work so after the stress of the day a drive home with a cigarette is what i look forward to. its not possible to drive with both hands on the bloody wheel, gear change etc??
perhaps we should all drive automatic cars/vans so that we don't have to take our hands of the steering wheel to change gears.drive alone so that we are not distracted by talking to passengers, remove cd players so we don't sing along to them and get distracted, perhaps we should ban driving altogether.
Yes ban it along with picking your nose, farting, looking happy and having a highly coloured shirt
Carole from Wigan , i d`ont know, what is it like?.
