Senior clergy at Southwark Cathedral in London say that the hymn Jerusalem is "not to the glory of God" and have banned its use from most services. What do you think of this action?

This hymn represents England & as usual Pc/do-gooders & other faiths try to chip away at all our traditions/flag waving etc.. until there's nothing left to call English.
You are in England ...If you don't like it.. GET OUT
It's one of the most stirring hymns we have and part of our heritage. Parry's arrangememnt is so powerful. The BNF use it, so we must claim it back for democracy. Blake was a true anarchist, or so I've been told. His religion was Christian but unusual - Swedeborg. I've met a Swedeborg family they seemed perfectly normal. I say keep it.
Personally I like it but I suspect it has something to do with the dreaded PC brigade. Simply get rid of the stupid guy.
We had this as the final hymn at my wedding 13 years ago - anyone who thinks its not to the glory of God should have heard my aunties in full voice!
as an ex southwark cathedral chorister i can always remember the hymn sung and was the favorite amonst many of the other choir members and congregation

Should Jerusalem be banned in church services?
