Is the Post Office doomed?

As many as 2,500 community Post Offices are set to close across the country, and the figure could rise to 6,500. Do you think the stamp of death for one of Britain’s best-loved institutions is drawing ever nearer? What, if anything, can be done to get the Post Office sorted?

if you let a clown have a 3million pound bonus and a company is in a dire
situation it just shows that it's leaders only want privatisation,it dont
matter what the public want they just want too scoop a massive payout
for themselves. Then when thats done they will go and ruin another buisness. The buck starts at the very top,so crozier and leighton should go from today.but of course they wont, they want all the money they can get out of this once well founded company. R.I.P Post office.

The death of the Post Office network was signed by the MPs who decided, and those who agreed with, the removal of payments of benefits by Giros which were cashed at the recipients local Post Office. How much did the banks' executives give ( & get ! ) to get this through ? They are the ones who have gained, at the expense of everyone else. The more Post Offices close, the more people will need to find a bank to deal with any financial transaction.
