The average British family dishes out £800 a year on taxes levied on flights, fuel and cars to help the government reach their carbon footprint targets.
Do you think the taxpayer is being held to ransom in the name of environmentalism? Or are these taxes essential in the fight against global climate change? Share your thoughts. If we paid less tax on fuels etc something else would need to be taxed. Our SNP leader has just announced that there is now to be free parking at hospitals in Scotland but the cost of maintaining and monitoring the car parks will now have to come out of the NHS .Thousands of pounds less to spend on patient care . Not very clever. So, all complainers, please suggest what SHOULD be taxed.
cant the put some new subjects on for a change
We live with a government who is hell bent on ripping us off,
Sorry about my little outburst last night. They do make me so angry greedy lying little thieves
i am fed up with polititions and these globle warming freeks spouting on and on about globle warming and think that high taxation is the answer its just a front to cover the justifaction to put taxes up we have taken recouses out of the ground like oil coal chalk gravel and a lot more besids and put tarmac and concrete in its place we cut down forrests for more of the same and by doing so most of this plannet will be coverd in water the sea round our coastline is already starting to eat into the mainland and its only a matter of time before the lowlands and london will be under water and high taxes will not help to stop it
