The average British family dishes out £800 a year on taxes levied on flights, fuel and cars to help the government reach their carbon footprint targets.
Do you think the taxpayer is being held to ransom in the name of environmentalism? Or are these taxes essential in the fight against global climate change? Council tax (PROPOSAL onLY) is to be replaced by another INCOME TAX which would be horendous.Alex Salmond has proposed this . Gordon Brown is against it.
Just heard that Scotland is to abolish council tax. About time we had our taxes abolished too. Not fair that our kids have to pay £3000 a year for university fees yet again Scotland has it free. Makes sense I suppose when we have a patriatic Scot in charge here, ripping us off and looking after his own. Thought we were a united kingdom not one half free while the other half pays.
We pay far too much tax on everything. We need an revolution!!!
