The average British family dishes out £800 a year on taxes levied on flights, fuel and cars to help the government reach their carbon footprint targets.
Do you think the taxpayer is being held to ransom in the name of environmentalism? Or are these taxes essential in the fight against global climate change? Share your thoughts.i would not mind paying green taxes if.....the main culprits who are destroying our planet do the same..ie the yanks..the chinks..and the Indians..the russians.but they wont agree to that,so its left to to tiny islands like us to pay the price...so that being the case what the hell are we bothering for..let the big boys take the challenge, and leave us poor sods alone...
BY GREEN TAX, YOU MEAN STEALTH TAX I TRUST,
IM SURE ALL THE STEALTH TAX MonEY GOES on PLANTING FORESTS AND NOT on HOUSES AND HAND OUTS FOR PEOPLE FROM WAR TORN PLACES (YEAH SURE) LIKE ALBANIA AND ROMANIA, SEE THE OTHER
I said no in my answer because I don't pay tax.....
I am fed up with paying too much tax for fuels, so i now convert my fuel oil, upon which i run my household heating and cooking, my cars and my chainsaws from cats. I go out at night and cacth them, then i boil them up (alive) until thye make a sticky goo. This is then sieved and burns a treat! Just like diesel....... remember Esso? They've been doing it for years - "put a cat in your tank!"
Somebody's got to pay for the Olympics!! Its us Gullible F.ckers.
