Should paedophiles be chemically castrated?

Convicted paedophiles who have served their sentence could be offered the chance to be chemically castrated to reduce the risk of reoffending, if trials prove successful.

The drug reduces testosterone levels to those found in pre-pubescent boys. Do you think that this is a good idea? Share your thoughts.
