David Cameron claimed in his Party Conference speech that he has "courage, leadership and a strongly Conservative vision for Britain" and rejected Brown’s appeal to the importance of experience, insisting that character and judgement matter more.
Do you believe that Cameron has what it takes to steer Britain through financial turmoil, or does Brown’s past make him better qualified? Is it about personality or experience?Mike, Dorset - very, very well said ... and very true too.
IF THERE WAS AN AWARD FOR ILLUSIonS OF GRANDURE CAMERon WOULD WIN HANDS DOWN.
NEVER MIND CAMERon AT LEAST YOU HAD THE NERVE TO GO UP AGAINST THE BIG BOYS,LOWER YOUR SIGHTS A BIT THERES A GOOD LAD.
jill harrison from basildon.....this Labour government has robbed the pension funds of billions of pounds..or cant you see that through your rose tinted classes
Irish Mick...yes I know how and why the unions were formed..and all about the Tolpuddle martyrs...but around Harold Wilson's time this country was sinking into the muck and the mire and all the Lefty union leaders could do was to order more strikes..all we ever read about in the papers was about striking miners..striking car workers...we were being held to ransom by the unions..they had got to powerful...it took a strong prime minister to challenge the power of the unions...the most strikes were in the Nationalised Industries were it was easy to demand more money,,after all the taxpayers paying ,,,This Labour government took over a strong economy left by M.Thatcher it took this government just 11 years to destroy it....
