It’s been a year since Gordon Brown took over the reins from Tony Blair, and he’s had some tough challenges to face. Apparently, they mean business, according to Ben Brogan.
Amongst (many) other things, a new Labour leader might take a different attitude to the EU and in particular to the Treaty of Whateverit'snowcalled.
If Brown goes, might Jack Straw, who worked for Barbera Castle all those years ago, and worked for the "no" campaign in 1975, be the man for the job? Just a thought.
