New research suggests that passive smoking makes children more vulnerable to serious infections that lead to diseases such as meningitis. There is also evidence that nine out of 10 cases of cot death could be linked to mothers who smoked during pregnancy. So is it time to ban smoking in the home for the sake of our children's health?

yes of course smoking should be banned in homes, a home is supposed to be a haven not a poisonous prison. your children or whoever comes in contact with you is affected , don't you want to provide a healthy environment for others. its not all about you, its about the people around you.
yay i gave up on christmas eve, and still no ciggie.
i don't think it should be banned in the home, peoples space, peoples choice.
just don't do it around little ones.
and use your god given will power and give up, it works.
M from S - Are you serious?? Discrimination?? Why would anyone want to smoke? Give up its the best thing you could do.
So all these YES ban it are forgetting that they are now DISCRIMINATING against all those WHO smoke and do not have CHILDREN.
