New research suggests that passive smoking makes children more vulnerable to serious infections that lead to diseases such as meningitis. There is also evidence that nine out of 10 cases of cot death could be linked to mothers who smoked during pregnancy. So is it time to ban smoking in the home for the sake of our children's health?

Anybody given up recently? If you have well done and keep going - You can do it!!
Dont be so ing stupid!
If they were concerned about children being exposed to smoke, they should never have banned smoking in pubs. They knew that when smoking was banned in bars in parts of the US that children were exposed to more passive smoking at home.
Hasnt this smoking ban caused even more problems, as its illegal to drink on the streets in most towns, now we have hoards of drinkers congregating outside pubs/clubs etc, causing a nuisance to those that want to walk passed these establishments.
