Is cruelty to animals a growing problem?

Animal cruelty is rising fast as a result of Britain's "throwaway society", according to The RSPCA. The most shocking incidents reported included a decaying dog chained to a radiator and a Staffie who had his ears cut off to look more macho. Are animals being "bought on a whim and discarded when the novelty wears off", as RSPCA chief officer Tim Wass says?

If you look back over the 20th centuary you will see that the Labour party, (when in office) has consistantly pushed back the social boundaries. Eventualy, assuming this process would continue, we would eventually reach a point where it had gone too far. We have reached that point. It has gone too far! Many of todays parents are convinced they are not allowed to chastise their children. Far too many children have no known farther. The simple reason being that if Mum lives with a man she gets her allowences reduced! This situation has not come about by accident, it is intentional. And down right evil! As for cruelty towards animals? The subculture not only believe they can do whatever they want.....they know it to be true under this current & self serving government.

I agree with pat from lincs, Anyone who has abused an animal should be jailed without any hesitation as Animals are just like kids in my view, they need looked after for life. People whom subject an animal to such are simply very dangerous people, lock them up + through away the key i say.

No its not, have you tryed to phone the so called R.S.P.C.A. you wont get an answer, they simply wont your donation, not the work.Though if there should be a TV camera in the area that may change. go on try it try to phone with a distressed animal problem, they are to busy breeding puppies and kittens. good luck.
