Should airguns be banned?

An 18-month-old boy has died in hospital a week after being accidentally shot in the head with an airgun by his five-year-old sister.

Are we doing enough to teach young people about dangerous weapons or does our culture glamorise guns and violence? Should airguns be treated the same as handguns in the eyes of the law? Share your thoughts.

no they should'nt. yes they may ruin life. but it is stupid just to hang out your window and shot someone. but what about things life clay pigeon shooting, some people have that as a hobby it is unfair just because of crime they should not have to suffer. the people who are retarded to kill someone just be being there. they should suffer not inossent people.

Their are a lot of people who get a lot of pleasure out of shooting guns, airguns or other types, as most people are sensible, it would be unfair to ban them. Now i`m not naive i know there are mindless idiots who would gain a lot of pleasure out of killing animals, like cats or birds or blowing somebodies eye out and it`s these people who we should be aiming at, make the punishment fit the crime, we are too soft, i have experience of these weapons, having been shot in the leg with one when I was young, it was not a nice thing! so lets knock the smile of the perpertrators faces, they might think twice then.

Its not the gun that kills its the person holding it!
You can kill some one with almost anything it doesn't take much. So you might well ban eveything!
