Under-14s should not be held responsible for their actions and should never be locked up in children’s homes or young offender institutions, according to The Prison Reform Trust. Their report calls for the criminal responsibility age to be raised from 10 to 14, claiming incarceration doesn't deter under-14s, since 75% of them reoffend within a year of release. Do you agree?

Anybody else read the recent scientific report about brains scans of 10 years olds giving definate evidence that young people of this age DO cetainly know the moral diference between right and wrong....instinctively?Despite what loopy left wing "do gooders" might want to convince themselves about this ? These are the sort of people who are the ones actually showing no "respect" to children or young people by frustrating their efforts for proper moral guidlines, and destabilising family structures to suit their own left-wing agendas.
