Should all UK taxpayers foot the bill for the London Olympics?

The cost of the 2012 London Olympics could end up reaching £20 billion - 10 times as much as the original estimate, a former 2012 boss has claimed. It has even been suggested that the rising cost of the games will be spread across the UK, with taxpayers who live outside of London footing the bill. Do you think that this is fair?

Try reading back over the previous pages Brian..
There you will find that question answered in detail many many times!.
But just in case you can't be bothered, they are a commercial con, they will never repay the billions that it will cost this country. only a select few will make any money from them and that will not include the taxpayers from this country who, by choice or by stealth will have to pay the bill for them.
Oh by the way has anyone given time to think, regardless of how much they will pay via other methods directly or indirectly, how much the BBC are intending to hike up the licence fee to be able to finance the bid to televise the games on terrestrial Television??.
Because whether you want to watch them or not, we are all going to have to pay for it....
