The cost of the 2012 London Olympics could end up reaching £20 billion - 10 times as much as the original estimate, a former 2012 boss has claimed. It has even been suggested that the rising cost of the games will be spread across the UK, with taxpayers who live outside of London footing the bill. Do you think that this is fair?
I hate sport, why should i pay for it?
Im not benefiting and neither will the majority who also have no interest in olympics.
I have spent enough on taxes that i can`t afford to live properly without stress, so why in Gods name should i pay for somebody elses entertainment.
What a joke.
The biggest winners in the Oympics are going to be the drug dealers of Hackney and Bethnal Green. The unions will have a field day because any contract with a fixed completion date is open to abuse. Take Wembley and the Dome for instances. They threw money at the Dome because Blair wanted to have his Millenium party there, and Mandleson wanted his Poofs Ball.
We are already PAYING one way or another some people are going to make a lot of money on the backs of people that will have no benifit at all .Who in the country will travel to london to go to an areana or whatever with fuel prices congestion charges parking charges and all the other crap this govt can heap upon ordinary hard working people.NO NO NO
Whilst our econamy is already knocking a SATAN'S door this goverment want to drag us further back into the darkest realms of financial dispair, just because they can and have absolute power to wield the financial sh*ty stick over us.
Gordon Brown we cant aford the olymic games and we cant afford your fuc*ing ego or power trip either. Niether will benefit our country so why should we have to pay for it. It will no doubt fill your pockets and garentie your place in the EU. Why is it ok to feather your own nest at the expense of others
i dont mind supporting the british competitors to cover their expenses. But a lot of organisations will make a lot of money out of the olympics so let them invest in it and pay for it.
