Should all UK taxpayers foot the bill for the London Olympics?

The cost of the 2012 London Olympics could end up reaching £20 billion - 10 times as much as the original estimate, a former 2012 boss has claimed. It has even been suggested that the rising cost of the games will be spread across the UK, with taxpayers who live outside of London footing the bill. Do you think that this is fair?

we should not all foot the bill for the Olympics which last a couple of months then disappears for good, what is left is an Olympic village that has no use at all. only winners are the builders and other contractors, the government who will take bribes to look other way and criminal gangs selling drugs, prostitution, murder, muggings, over the top travel costs, high fuel costs, parking costs, congestion charges. The police will be expected to police this and leave other areas of London over run with criminals who will have a field day, because all London police will be around the Olympic village, handing out spot fines, what would be funny is if the Chinese demonstrated outside the Olympic village etc, about our human rights problems.
