Yobs making town centres no-go areas

Conservative MP Edward Leigh has claimed that drunken yobs are acting like “an occupying army” in town centres after dark, and that persistent young offenders view Asbos as a way of life. Do you feel safe to walk the streets at night? Are the government doing enough to tackle drunken thuggish behaviour, or is the problem getting worse?

I agree with the Marks from Portsmouth and Nottingham. I think the problem is excess testosterone, ergo - cut their balls off like they do with aggressive dogs. Furthermore, make it a public ritual so that they feel demeaned. That way, everyone can see. I'd buy tickets!!

Depends who you are. But not all yobs are teenagers and all agro isn`t at night. In Lincoln, there is a problem with foul mouthed, ignorant drunks. Not teenagers, but grown men who booze all day, being abusive to passers by, and at night dissapear into the dossers hoastel. one thing they have in common with the young yobs though, is if faced up to, they start whining for the police. They want anarchy, as long as they can recourse to the law if need be. Personally, I`m not bothered, as retribution by me is both painful and lasting.
