Britain could see a mass load of strikes this summer, with rubbish going uncollected and schools left shut, as hundreds of thousands of council workers threaten a walkout over a 2.45% pay rise. Do you support industrial action from workers in the public sector? Have your say.

David from Wigan council workers pay toward their own pensions and what they actually retire on in most cases will not be enough to live on. Get your facts straight before trying to blame the victims.
People will strike for more pay especially if they are on low wages relative to the average income. What the public never seem to be told however is exactly what wages strikers are actually on. Is this because some of them are not that badly paid to start with. What also never gets mentioned is the fact that 26% of all council tax is invested in the council workers pension scheme. You don't hear council workers complaining about that.
