Britain could see a mass load of strikes this summer, with rubbish going uncollected and schools left shut, as hundreds of thousands of council workers threaten a walkout over a 2.45% pay rise. Do you support industrial action from workers in the public sector? Have your say.

It seems to me that the majority of those working in the public sector seem to believe for some reason that EVERYonE working in the private sector are fat cats who have huge pay rises every year. I haven't had a pay rise for 4 years and before that it was 2% below inflation and at the end of the day any percentage of nothing equals nothing. I can't go on strike because I would get the sack. Surely you are aware of the salary before you take on a job? Its not like its pot luck and they don't tell you what you're wages will be after you've accepted the job. I'm on a low wage and I don't support the council workers strikes. Why should I? It just makes my low wages have to spread even further especially when I have to spend money on child care when my children should be at shool.
Teachers shouldn't be able to go on strike iits not as if grades are at an all time high should get a payrise if they teach well and get children to recieve good grades
can we all go on strike ////
Vinny from Northwich, Cheshire do you honestly expect anyone to imagine that the oil barons are having to struggle to pay their bills? The bastads are lapping up the luxury while they send our kids to fight wars to add to their massive profits. The council has saved billions off our backs only to give it to those parasites. We are not asking to raise the taxes of working people because that would defeat the object. We are asking for the greedy sods who are telling us to take a wage cut to give just a fraction of their incomes to people who deserve it and we will not have to stand outside anywhere with our banners.
yvonne from little hulton,, why don't you gey off your fat, lazy ass and do it yourself. We are striking because of the crap we have to take off people like you when services are useless because we don't have enough people to do the job and the ones that do the work are expected to twice as much work while they are being told to accept wage cuts.
