Britain could see a mass load of strikes this summer, with rubbish going uncollected and schools left shut, as hundreds of thousands of council workers threaten a walkout over a 2.45% pay rise. Do you support industrial action from workers in the public sector? Have your say.

Council Workers want a rise in pay when the country is in Recession and Businesses are closing down.
They should count themselves lucky that they still have a Job to go to.
yes i support the council workers strike 3% of nothing is nothing, ok , dont blame the workers blame the government and fat cat mps we all know that council taxes are high, thats because too many office based management salaries are highly paid. good luck keep up the fight till u win.
no they have it to easy every fortnigt when in spain picked trice a day you do not want to help elderly i only 40 and these bins are to confusing that why ever1 not coping
they have it so easy now because i remember years ago when they use to come up the path and carry bins on their shoulders and then carry it back again now if you forget to put it out it doesnt get emptied
not anymore, all i get to see for my council tax is taking the bins to a collection point, tenant meetings when i'm at work. They have the nerve to complain-they can get stuffed-why? because if i need anything it takes them months, but when my monthly salary overlaps,i soon get a letter threatening eviction-i keep all letters just in case,i have a nice collection. Finally i suggest that you keep all correspondence,if you get any hassle,go to the media/solicitor-stand and be counted-
