Are you scared to leave your house?

Are you scared to leave your house?

Apparently, 42% of us are too scared to leave our homes at night due to fear of yobs. A third of people have also called the police to tackle problems with local troublemakers. And 65% think that under-16s shouldn't be allowed out at night.

Are you scared to leave your home? What measures do you think should be taken to resolve this? Should we tackle the parents? Should kids have curfews?

I am lucky enough to live in a fairly quiet area in Kent, I do not say we have not had the odd bit of trouble but I have to say that it is getting worse in general across the country, I have no faith in the Police doing anything and I am an ex-Policeman myself and I can understand people taking the Law into their own hands and if I am honest I would do the same and sod the consequences.
Last year my Mum was Mugged by two 12 year olds in the Village she lives in and the police did Naff all about it although they did send a PCSO around ( Waste of space) and all he could say was that it was noted and they would look into it, Huh! Nothing more was heard about it.
And when i mentioned what i would like to do the little Sh**,s if I caught up with them I was warned about it and what would happen if I so much as yelled at them and then he had the bloody auacity to say that they probably came from a dysfunctional family, Err! HELLO, What hell has that got to do with it.
I say we should all stand together and get rid of the scum etc. As it seems that the Goverment, Local Authority etc are not doing anything to deal with it.

The town i live in has turned into a ghost town, all the industry has gone and it's affected the night life with the pubs empty. There is a yob element though late on it can be a bit scary, a community police officer was beaten up last weekend for no reason
