Apparently, 42% of us are too scared to leave our homes at night due to fear of yobs. A third of people have also called the police to tackle problems with local troublemakers. And 65% think that under-16s shouldn't be allowed out at night.
Are you scared to leave your home? What measures do you think should be taken to resolve this? Should we tackle the parents? Should kids have curfews?
its about time the public stood together and tackled these yobs, they know ppl are afraid and wont say anything, i think they should be rounded up and then give them 2yrs national service to learn some discipline and respect, see how they would like that
Re Alan from Kent, my thoughts go out to your dear Mum and you all. I frequently am on own at night and yes am looking around, on my guard, and hoping my instincts serve me well, so far they have. Its a risk every time lets be honest about this. There is NO justice at the end of the day so its every "man" for himself and woman! You men now have to be as wary and aware as we women have had to be for decades. Better parenting or even some parenting is the root cause, there is no respect from cowards who lurk in the shadows with hoodies, they even steal dogs for fun!! Be aware everyone and take care eh?
Allen of Kent I know how you feel but we are only one degree of separation from civil war. The best of our police are trying to keep a lid on the situation until such time as a responsible government can be elected. This shower have neither the imagination or necessary skills to run the uk.
WHY
Not only my, I am scared for my wife, my children and the rest of my family.
