Apparently, 42% of us are too scared to leave our homes at night due to fear of yobs. A third of people have also called the police to tackle problems with local troublemakers. And 65% think that under-16s shouldn't be allowed out at night.
Are you scared to leave your home? What measures do you think should be taken to resolve this? Should we tackle the parents? Should kids have curfews?
It is scary to leave the house at night if your a Female.
What I'd like to know is WHY Parents let their kids out at night when their 16 and under.
Can't Parents Control their Kids Anymore?
yes i am afraid to leave my home anytime of day, but i have t as i have a dog that needs walking. And almost everyday withut fail no matter if i chage my times etc routes, i get accosted by a small gang who ask for money so they can buy drugs, or tell me to go and kill myself and offer me tips on how to do it, or they ask if im a prostitute. It would not have got so bad had the police done their job in 2003 and arrested them for assaulting me outside my front garden , then there was 14 of them, and they were only standing 300 yards away and the ambul;ance river radiod police and told them where they were!! too much trouble isnt it, lucky a few have grown up and do actually go to work. But what about the rest!! are they playing the mental illness card which sems to be rife around here and claim DLA or the alcoholic card again hich they can claim dissability living allowance on to of either income support or incappacity benefit. And people who are genuinely disabled either thru mental illness or physical get put through the mill when making a claim.
hello everyone my name is daniel and i am 9 and tonight i am leavingmy house but i am scared but i am going to fight it
I suppose it depends where you live, North or South, city or countryside. I feel quite safe but that is probably because I know a lot of the teenagers around the area as I have children of that age. I fully understand why the elderly are frightened as youths tend to hang around in groups mainly because there is nowhere for them to go and nothing for them to do, no wonder we have underage drinking and vandalism, and trouble with gangs attacking each other. But we have to also realise this behaviour has gone on for years, it just gets more publicity now, which unfortunately scares some but makes those involved feel braver and makes them do it more as they get away with it.
i have a German shepard, so no as i would let him go if needed
