Ever had a neighbour from hell?

Ever had a neighbour from hell?

A 64-year-old man from Somerset has been served an ASBO and ordered to pay £2,500 in damages to his neighbours because his flock of 100 chickens and cockerels tormented them with 420 crows per hour.

Have you ever had a nightmare neighbour? What winds you up the most about the people where you live? Get it off your chest.

Wow! Glad to see that I am not the only one who feels like this! I returned to Scotland after being out of the country for 20 years, bringing my family with me. Bought a house in a "nice" suburb to raise the kids etc. Two years on and I am literally pulling my hair out over a next door neighbour......!!!! Sadly she has a kid and yet her kid never seems to make a noise, play outside, ride a bike etc. It seems that my kids are always to blame, being called "foreign ********'s" etc. I have finally given up on talking to the police, the council and anyone else who might listen and have decided that I am selling up and moving away from Scotland.

My neighbors are partying all weekend, luckily i can stay at my girlfriends. if you confront people nowadays what do you get? a good kicking or a knife in the stomach, it's not worth it.

We have a lovley neighbour on one side and neighbours from Hell on the other. They are Czech (not that that should have any bearing on it), but have had parties in their garden lasting all night - in the full knowledge that we work full time and our child is prevented from sleeping. We could go to the council and get the noise abatement, but we need loads of evidence and there is nothing to stop her moving in new tennants whereby the battle would begin all over again.
The police will no longer respond to noise nuiscance calls (can we expect a reduction in council tax then Bury?).
These neighbours are in rented property and their landlady will do nothing about it saying "well, I don't have to live there, they don't bother me". The same landlady began work on that property and ripped down my fence without permission (she lied and said my husband had given the go-ahead).
She has many properties on this estate and two have been busted for growing cannabis. She removes the front gardens of her properties concreting them. In general she is devaluing this area and it seems that there is nothing that we can do about it.
Anyone else have problems with private landlords and if so, has anyone managed to overcome them and how ?

No but I have watched many TV programmes about the subject and yes it must be absolute hell for those living next door/either side to these scum.
