We have here in Kirkby - a proposed £400 millionn pound developement- comprised of a 50, 000 seater football stadium and a Tesco retail hyper - market - both of which will bring thousands of people and cars into the area.
We will have to suffer all of the problems and enviremental damage this developement brings with it.
We are going to lose a huge amount of our green space and have to put up with the usual yobbish behaviour assosi.cated with football fans.
Our councillors, without any thought of consultation , have thought fit to pass these plans for the propsed developement even though there is strong feeling that most people don,t want it.
The Labour councillor in the ward most effected, bareley held on yo her seat ( held on by 12 votes)
labour councillors in other parts of Kirkby were in a similar position.
why won,t they consult their constituents, why wont they offer them a referendum.
    So much for democracy

No I am not happy with the local election results. What with postal voting, that is open to criminal behavior, when I cast my vote muslims whera being bussed in to vote, most could not even speak English, taxis outside blaring out their cruddy music and then being told who to vote for. No I am not happy. But on the other hand I did not see any English people, proably too tired to get up.It should be compulsery to vote in this country, or lose your benifits.

Be thankful for the giro you get matey or go into politics for yourself.
What really get's me is that the people who complain all the time are the same ones who don't vote.
Mind You it would be better if you could vote for "NonE OF THE ABOVE"
