Council officers in Lancashire have been assigned to snoop in residents’ back gardens, looking at how many wheelie bins they have, and taking away any ‘unauthorised’ refuse containers.
Officers were seen propping ladders against garden fences to peer into residents’ gardens. Do you think this is going too far? Share your thoughts. If we could search the House of Commons Bins then perhaps we could discover what the present Government do,since nobody seems to know?
i cant even believe they search through our bins. that is breach of our privacy. bad enough we got camera's watching our every move but this is taking the biscuit. its got nothing to do with the council of what we throw away. why on earth do they want to search through our smelly, mouldy bug ridden bins??? i dont dare go near mine cos of the smell. this country is messed up

I have always had the greatest respect for binmen. Without them we would be in a sorry state. That doesn't mean to say that if one of them makes stupid and vulgar postings that I will not reply. As far as sex toys and books you obviously know far more about that than I do.
If you have been a bin man for fifteen years I can't think of anything more insular than that. Get a life you sad person.

Should council workers be snooping in our gardens?
