Should council workers be snooping in our gardens?

Council officers in Lancashire have been assigned to snoop in residents’ back gardens, looking at how many wheelie bins they have, and taking away any ‘unauthorised’ refuse containers.

Officers were seen propping ladders against garden fences to peer into residents’ gardens. Do you think this is going too far? Share your thoughts.

    If they have the time & resources to contemplate doing this then they have the means to set up local recycling centres where the rubbish can be sorted through at leisure.
