Council officers in Lancashire have been assigned to snoop in residents’ back gardens, looking at how many wheelie bins they have, and taking away any ‘unauthorised’ refuse containers.
Officers were seen propping ladders against garden fences to peer into residents’ gardens. Do you think this is going too far? Share your thoughts. If they feel the need to root through our bins if they are hungry or bored then fine, just don't send me the bill, anyway I always thought we had rats to do this sort of thing?
Yes make the bin men work a full day like the rest of us
Yes by all means, i am always getting refugees out of mine!!! bin watch bring it on. Catch those naughty HOBOs from abroad who nick our bin stuff and sell it at corner shops stale.
only if its to feed their families and stop them begging
i will keep a diary of what i throw away and hand it to the council personally (not a problem) then when new trash laws come into affect, i will maybe alter what i place in the bin... until then sure come round check my bin....

Should council workers be snooping in our gardens?
