Should John Sergeant rejoin Strictly Come Dancing?

The John Sergeant saga rumbles on with thousands of viewers threatening to boycott Strictly Come Dancing. Do you think the 'dancing pig' should be reinstated?

I think John should have stayed. It is a fun competition and not serious professional dancing. He is not a celebrity and he came across as very sincere, endearing and very funny to watch, I really enjoyed the relationship between him and the professional dancer who did her very best to teach him to dance and was so patient and kind to him and they just were a lovely couple!!

About time! He should have gone weeks ago. He might be entertaining to watch for some people but at the end of the day it's about dancing and he was no good. I'm sure he must have had a twinge of guilt when better dancers than him were being voted off just because he's got a bigger following.

It would be lovely to see JS on Strictly again, but it aint gonna happen. I am sure he would not be allowed to rejoin the programme as the judges always get their way. It is a dancing competition but a entertainment one also. The public have again been pushed aside for the sake of their views. We are the people that spend the money voting, not them. All in a good cause, yeah sure, I wont be watching and everyone should follow suit. No audience figures or voting monies would sort them out.

Yes, I think that JS should rejoin the show. It is a show about people learning how to dance, and as it is on BBC it is surely supposed to encourage all of us in the audience to want to have a go, not just sit passively on our bums watching it for entertainment. John epitomises this idea as he has a day job and interests that seem to be the exact opposite of dancing. Plus, he is an intellectual and not a vacuous soap / sports star or model, so it is more interesting watching him learn than watching someone who just wants to be looked at and ogled over. I think that JS added some class to the show.
