There's a new Morecambe and Wise DVD out this week. Where do they rank in the pantheon of TV comedians? Are they the funniest ever duo to appear on the small screen? How do they rate against today's comedians? Have your say here.
just read 4 pages of other guy's comments, if I where a TV programmer, think I would be taking note of the British public's comments because what they expect us to pay for and watch today is absolute cheap "Rubbish"
we all lost "The Sunshine" from our telly's when Eric and Ernie left us, replaced by dark clouds of smut and filth or what is known as "toilet humour" only the word humour should be replaced with "Rubbish"!
AS A KID THEY WERE ALWAYS IN MY TOP 5 THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO ABOUT CHRISTMAS!!
Two outstanding funny, intelegent and they still even make us laugh to this day.
Eric and Ernie, in my book they are still the best. A friend of ours emailed the 'stripper' routine from Youtube. It was one of the best presnts I recieved over Christmas. How many of todays 'so-called' comedians have such a celebrity line-up clamouring to get on their shows? they could learn a lot from Eric and Ernie. Try saying 'boom-ooh-yatatata', or how about 'Im playing all the right notes, but not neccesarily in the right order!'. Eric and Ernie I salute you.
