    at their best when at the bbc,brilliant t/v,like so many of their generation did their apprenticeship in the clubs and learnt their trade,we will never see the likes of these again.ant and dec please note you are not in the same league as these guys and never will be

    They were the best and I cannot get enough of watching reruns on the TV. I did like them so much, I went to see 'The play what I wrote' a few years ago and nearly walked out as I was so disappointed, but just as I was about to leave, they did an about turn and I am glad I stayed as it was brilliant and reminded me so much of them.

    Eric & Ernie never had to resort to bad language to get a laugh (unlike some of today's comedians) always good clean fun from the uk's finest duo and their film described them perfectly...The Magnificent Two!
