From Coronation Street to teen drama Hollyoaks, violent storylines have become the norm. Do you think the writers have gone too far and there is now too much violence in soaps? Have your say here...
I love soaps me!!Just wish someone would do away wiv Ian Beale!Right pain in the wotsits mate!
No there is not too much sex and violence in the soaps. Just too many soaps on too much. I do watch them but am getting very bored with them!!!!
Am i the only person in this country who can honestly say i have never seen a full episode of eastenders, and i am in my fifties lived here all my life. I have tried to watch it a couple of times but after five mins of complete depressing rubbish turned over -
this is life, that is what is happening in our world, you dont have to watch it turn over.
yes there is to much sex and violence on tv. what makes it worse is that even with a watershed on tv partents still let there kids whatch certain programmes. nothing matters to people any more all kids want to be is cool famous rich no matter how they do it. even so called young teenagers are so dim its unreal. so what happens when they see these things on tv they havent got a brain to decifer whats real and whats not. the stotyline with david in corrie setting someone up is pathetic he supposed to be a yound adult what a message it sends out . after all english kids are not the brightest in the box are they. but the sadest people are the writers who have to use these storylines if thats being a sosp writer were all qualified
