From Coronation Street to teen drama Hollyoaks, violent storylines have become the norm. Do you think the writers have gone too far and there is now too much violence in soaps? Have your say here...
I think it is great it was god o see jim and andy backhim n liz should get back together. I hate david even to look at he is an idiot ad ugly. I hope that becky an steve are kept together dont want her locked up she is the be get rid of that liz she a nasty woman
See you have many comments with complaints about conceit, arrogance, violence and other members of the new millennium gang known to one and all as 'attitude' - but wait...the popular (and populist) shows on telly are watched even more nowadays, and I suspect most who moan just cannot wait for their daily dose of soaps - along with the various crime progs. that are on from 22.00 onwards on ITV3/4 etc, with Cockney boys telling us who are the maddest crims. in the uk, along with pseudo 'SAS' series, with ex-EastEnders running the show . As a lady of soul once sung to us...who's zoomin' who - or, perhaps more to the point; why are we so hypocritical?
I was watching the wedding of Steve and Becky on Corrie last Friday and watching Jim Mcdonald makes me want to switch channels he is an arrogant individual both on screen and off. I was watching him on GMTV last week and he is horrible I do hope he isn't going to become a permanant on the street?
far 2 much violence in soaps they should all be banned as most of there viewers have nothing better 2 do with there lives but watch all this rubbish""""""""""""" LETS HAVE SOME DECENT SHOWS AFTER ALL JUST LOOK IN THE PAPERS THE WORLD NOTHING BUT VIOLENCE AND MORE VIOLENCE WE Don'T NEED IT on TELLY AS WELL
theres too much violence in the world full stop, in soaps,ps games etc,etc
its all about getting the upper hand these days
whatever that seems to take
