Katie Hopkins' I'm A Celeb... blog

created Nov 24 2008, 11:24"David is a talentless fool"

I have come to the conclusion that I don't like Timmy Mallett. I had that suspicion when I was 12. At 33 it is clear that first impressions are often spot on.

There does comes a point in the jungle when you are so bored of either a) your camp mates b) collecting firewood c) thinking about salt and vinegar crisps and coke that the prospect of a trial is quite refreshing – a chance to escape monotony and spend some time with pocket pals Ant and Dec.

The dilemma is that you do need to be somewhat interesting, or at least downright annoying, in order to antagonise the viewing public into voting for you. At this rate, characterless Carly and simpleton Simon are unlikely to leave camp ever again. Simon went to the Bush Telegraph to inform us that bickering in camp sapped his energy – it’s not like he was over blessed with the stuff in the first place.

Shame the same couldn’t be said of David, who came up with the worst "song" in camp history. The talentless fool thought it had real potential. Frankly we would rather watch Biggins eat frozen profiteroles in the Iceland ads.

I'm bored of the entire thing, being honest. However, I do like Joe Swash, as he seems a decent lad, and I think Robert K-Silk is a very intelligent bloke. Nicola and Carly haven't contributed a great lot, whilst Esther has really shown herself to be both intelligent, and down to earth.
But it is obvious the producers thought "Let's stir things up a bit", when they brought David Van Day the latter day burger-flipper and Timmy "Wackaday" Mallett into things. Apart from the first night and following day, there hasn't been a lot to say for their 'cunning' plan. It's failed. (up to now)
However, I am so glad that Nicola has to face this next challenge in a darkened chamber, with all kinds of creatures waiting to pounce. She's been highly critical of others in the group, yet she can face this challenge safe in the knowledge that if she is bitten on her 'prize assets', she probably won't even feel it, due to them not actually being real. I simply can't wait to see how she does, but I don't think she'll get many stars, put it that way. And she may even get stuck, with her two 'friends' causing a blockage.
All in all, I never thought I'd say this, but.......bring back Peter Andre!
(All in all, it all 'went' for me, when they showed behind the scenes footage and it is obvious that there are parts of Britain that are wilder than where they actually are, as the manicured grass, etc seen out of shot, proved. It is nothing but a SET they have for filming. It is totally false, and I think people are being conned. For me, the 'magic' has gone. It's fake.)
