Sod the one-offs; for sustained performance one has to say that the performance of Jack Sheppard as David in Corrie marks him out to be one of the all-time best actors of any age in any British soap. Thoroughly believeable especially when you're not sure whether his character should be believed.

the others are crap
corrie ok sometimes
