EastEnders will feature the most expensive stunt in soap history when Phil's car crashes into a lake next week. But should producers be spending £1m of licence payers money on action stunts?
Eastenders and the rest of that trash represents the dumbed down society that we live in.
It is tosh, but nothing will change
They need to do something the programme is terrible, the stories really not believeable,the actors and acting over done the one true actor is the part of 'Stacy' she comes over well and should have the notice, the others are really second rate.Please BBC, please refrain from playing music with the dialoque lets here the actors speak so we can follow the storyline. I'm deaf and it's hard to follow with music playing loudly all the way through, and that applies to most of your programmes most distressing. Will you take note, I doubt it.

what a complete waste of money i also would like to know why you have to pay 3 times as much for a colour licence than a black and white one. bbc say its for the quality of programmes but they do not provide the colour it comes with the tv so we should all by black and white licences as the programmes are the same ......rubbish
With a million quid they could scrap Eastenders and show Top Gear more often.
