EastEnders will feature the most expensive stunt in soap history when Phil's car crashes into a lake next week. But should producers be spending £1m of licence payers money on action stunts?
EASTENDERS rules itis the best thing on tv and if i cant watch it i record it. i know its sad but its really interesting. i find the storylines realistic too. soap operas are based on reality and they dont have to be really dramatic or out of the ordinary. they can be ordinary but they have to spice it up a bit to get higher ratings. would you prefer it to match your day to day life or would you prefer the whole point of a soap opera to change just to make it more intersting for all the haters out there? i think it was worth spending all that money on the storyline. it got peoples attention and wasnt that the point of it. i think it was and i am loving eastenders because of it!
