   Information about BB is all too easily available. In fact is shoved in our faces from all angles. Even Virgin Media's home page. We are bombarded
   with updates and latest news about this puerile drivel constantly.
   The three items I referred to were deduced from the forementioned media and what is probably about twenty five minutes total viewing time
   by me, of all the three or four series of BB.
   No, sorry to disappoint you, not a secret fan. Although I am a secret admirer of Natasha Kaplinsky (News reader).

   In summary
   You set yourself up as the un requested spokesperson and defender of all the BB fans.
   THEN YOU PROCEED TO DEFEND THE SHOW ITS SELF.
   Read your own comments. You are defending a show that you seem to lack the basic understanding of.
   You defend a show that YOU say is cheap entertainment
   You defend a show that YOU say is populated mainly by loathsome types.
   You make sweeping statements about the shows "meaning"
   And you call your self a fan of this show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
   If you want to defend the show that is fine, please don't try to hide it with your pseudo heroic defender of BB fans rubbish.
   Read others comments in this topic. Having read your response, I did just that to see what other people thought.
   you will be surprised, there are far more who think the same as I do than as you do.
   I haven't even got into all the other things such as :-
   one way or another we pay for this rubbish. What does that tell you about the producers opinion of the viewing public ?
   What messages does BB send out?, what is it promoting?, especialy to younger people. Promiscuity, reverse discrimination, bullying.
   The list goes on, it promotes the erosion of decent values, intellect and dignity. Read the posts. I just read a hundred of them.
   I am going to stop at this point as I think no purpose would be served by me going any further.
   Nathan 1970 your opinions are fine by me and I will repect them as such, I may question or criticise them but I am entitled to do so.
   Just as you may critcise or question mine.
   I will not lower myself to your rather childish method of hinting (secret fan) kind of rubbish.

   Firstly any BB fan knows the programme is a partly fabricated, fly- on- the- wall piece of cheap entertainment, which attracts all kinds of applicants-some likeable but most loathsome.Generally the programme is meant to be a bit of fun,and taken with a pinch of salt- not to incense such obsessive vitriol towards the show from non-viewers (there is after all an off/alternative channel control button). I (and fellow BB fans) do not take fondly to being summoned to " For God's sake get a life you people " as I have an active and varied life, and do not spend it watching Tv I consider "trash" and "rubbish" as you quoted.
   Finally for a non-fan you seem to have well-rounded knowledge of BB if you are so aware of "squealing gayboys","weirdest dregs of society", and "prostitutes" as contestants: or deep down are you a secret fan of this "disgusting bilge" as you call it?

I am just glad that my children have grown up. I would not want any of my children to be influenced by this disgusting bilge.
