It was quite therapeutic watching Dollar man sink sub-surface in a telephone box, especially in the certain knowledge that just like every telephone box the world over, it smelt of wee.
Under-ground seemed to be the theme of the day as the bush battlers had to hop in a coffin for the night. Strangely, hanging out in a coffin in the jungle is something I have some firsthand knowledge of... not too many people can say that. Coffins themselves are quite comforting places. But cockroaches on the other hand are not good bed fellows. They really do smell, they excrete something that stings like hell and there is the irritating knowledge that should a nuclear attack chance upon your coffin, it is they that would survive, not you.
Brian was annoyed at himself for giving in and proceeded to bore the camp even more rigid than normal with a tedious monologue about how he was just moments from certain victory... but then gave in. Pathetic. Brian makes magnolia look like a crazy choice in interior decoration.
Elimination time placed in our hands the ability to make someone feel singularly awful for being the least loved member of camp. Robert was a surprise. Clearly years of being a bit too orange, arrogant and opinionated could not be compensated for by being something of a good egg in the jungle.
Most eggs that I have seen, have marginally more charisma than Mr Silk.
It is a shame Robert K has gone as I think he was a good influence on the rest of them, except of course Nicola, who with her whinning, bitchy, mouthy, approach, is not intelligent enough to accept any form of good influence. Personally I should like to see Martina win as she acts is such a lovely positive, calm, caring manner showing herself head and shoulders above all of them. Good luck Martina.
