   bernard was funny, but you have to remember that his humour was from an age where political correctness wasn`t heard of then so nobody at the time complained, it`s just that the do gooders got their pants in a twist that things changed, and bernard was JEWISH!

   steve from manchester.. exactly right mate.he was one of the best if not the best.I find the new style of comedy of today is just not funny it must be imported from the states ,I just dont find it funny at all..I have seen him lots of times his critticks probably have never seen him..
