We've picked some of our favourite scenic spots for an autumn escape. Which places do you love to visit in the unique colours and lights of autumn? Have you had a memorable break during the "season of mists and mellow fruitfulness"? Share all your tips and tales here.
I have just come back from a fantastic holiday to the carribbean. It was lovely to feel the sun instead of the rotten weather at home. I would highly recommend going away in the winter, it makes sense.
helen your place i had to get out my dictionary to look up chanterelles never heard a mushroom being called that i agree the western highlands are lovely we in Scotland dont appreciate our country enough
anywhere in Scotland in winter can not beat our country for scenery try up north to die for, great to get away from towns
Anywhere but here!
I love the parks where there are lots of tree leaves gradually changing colours. There are so many beautiful shades and i usually go out and collect leaves from different trees and make a collage of all the different leaves and sometimes add colour to them by painting them, different shades of reds, yellows or greens so they look more exotic.
