just across the Agean Sea is Thassos another gem of a Greek Island, no discos, no screaming kids, no airport, you have to catch a ferry from the mainland, just really good beaches, food and wine. Totally Greek, bits of buildings not finished fantastic views from the mountain and one of the main suppliers of marble, and a St Geoges flag in one of the churches from the time of the crusades. History.
Not going to tell you all otherwise you'll all go there and spoil it!!!
I,m sticking with Britain,England.Ok,so the weather is not reliable but what of it?,there,s plenty to see, unspoilt places, coastlines, heritage and history, things to do aplenty. As we face tighter restrictions on our available finances I feel tourism in this country could enter a new renaissance period in travel and tourism.Great news for all concerned.
