Two British women have been arrested after a drunken rampage 30,00ft up in the air ended with one of them attempting to open the cabin door, screaming: “I want some fresh air!” In the same weekend, the mayor of Faliraki was celebrating the absence of British holidaymakers at the Greek holiday resort. The Guardian quoted him as saying: “There are far fewer Britons, which means no rapes, no accidents, no drunken debauchery, no going on the rampage. I'm so relieved.”
Are the Brits really the worst behaved when abroad? What compels us to get so drunk and behave so badly? Share your thoughts.
i don't think it's good the way brits act abroad, but then maybe if living in britain wasn't so stressful with all the rules, regulations, pc, etc, we wouldn't have so many feeling they need to let their hair down in this way.
It's not that we don't respect other countries or their customs and values though. Just look at us at home, we can't get along with folk from the next housing estate let alone the next city or neighbouring country.
It seems like the further you take a brit from the uk the less they give a sh*t about everybody and everything around them. I went on holiday with friends once and was roundly disgusted by some of the things they thought were funny to be doing on foreign soil.
I think a lot of Brits are still very guilty of looking down on the rest of the world. The Empirical days are over, about bloody time we started acting like it.
Shame on Virgin Media for making out as if alcohol abuse, antisocial behaviour and ignorant vulgarity are something to be proud of. You can always tell the brits abroad, and they are a disgrace.
Why do people binge drink to their deaths?
People may think their "having fun " but this is crossing the boundaries!!!!!!!
Started in the mid 90's when girls thought they were liberating themselves but have actually turned into cheap hussies. Go around Europe and ask peoples opinions of English girls, drunk and easy. The lads are seen as louts in football shirts. When did it become percieved as sexy to stick you tounge out like a cow, when you see this, avoid.

Do Brits behave worse abroad than other nationalities?
