Two British women have been arrested after a drunken rampage 30,00ft up in the air ended with one of them attempting to open the cabin door, screaming: “I want some fresh air!” In the same weekend, the mayor of Faliraki was celebrating the absence of British holidaymakers at the Greek holiday resort. The Guardian quoted him as saying: “There are far fewer Britons, which means no rapes, no accidents, no drunken debauchery, no going on the rampage. I'm so relieved.”
Are the Brits really the worst behaved when abroad? What compels us to get so drunk and behave so badly? Share your thoughts.
Well you're a barrell of laughs aren't you.
To all the people saying they saw other Brits when they were on holiday and were ashamed of being British: If you're going to go to tacky holiday resorts which are popular with drunken Brits then you can hardly say that you hang your head in shame when you witness it. Yeah our behaviour can be pretty bad but the locals make loads of money from us and let's face it, getting really drunk and being an idiot IS fun. And frankly, not really that bothered what other people think about the English.
I used to just hate the working class for their drunken violent acts, I also hated the toffs for the same reason, the toffs & working class have a lot in common, the latter word being the correct description, but now I also hate middle class students who think it is cool to act like a yob! Basicaly I hate the British.
I'm sure we're worse, but it's fun. And hilarious.
In Greece it is considered shameful to get drunk. So in the uk its the way we are brought up typified by the chav underclass.Theres a big difference between having a good time and behaving like a moron.People behaving like morons and drunk in the streets of the uk should get locked up for 7 days that might teach em.As for those girls stick them in a Greek jail for a couple of years. They put everyones lives in danger.

Do Brits behave worse abroad than other nationalities?
